A recent comment on our site was brought to my attention regarding inaccurate updates. I’m not here to release anything. (You’ll know why later.) I am only here to reply to some questions everyone might be thinking:
Q – Man, when will you stop fooling us with your inaccurate release date schedules?
A – Trust me, my intention was to inform and not deceive. When I state a release, it really is genuinely intended for that day, but things do come up, like they always come up for me. As of today, I’ll no longer be posting ETA’s because I hate to disappoint anyone, but I will continue to inform the readers of which projects we intend to release.
Q – Where can I go to ask for release dates then?
A – There’s an “Ask Hatsu” box on the bottom right hand corner. I personally answer each and every one of these emails, so if there’s something you’d like to know, or any complaints that you have, please feel free to contact me through there.
Q – Why are you not releasing what should have been released two weeks ago?
A – Because I (Hatsumimi) and not they (the Stiletto Heels’ staff) am holding these releases hostage until I am done Q-checking them. That’s all there is to it. The other staff have finished doing their part, but I am just a little slower because RL prevails, and I’m in the middle of pursuing a lawsuit following the car accident that happened on Memorial Day weekend, and while I love you guys and want to give you everything all at once, I just don’t have the manpower and time to do that yet.
Last but not least, we have a set of new editors and cleaners, and we are getting a lot done behind-the-scenes. All of our staff have been working very hard to catch up. Expect releases sooner than later. If there’s anyone to blame for slow releases, then it’s a combination of me, a lack of good Japanese to English translators and Quality-checkers. Until we can fill the gap, you’ll have to bear with it.
See you soon,
Hatsumimi (Stiletto Heels’ Admin)
Umm, yeah, I always assumed the dates were just an estimate and appreciated the heads up. Anyone who’s done any scanlation work should know how it goes. Just keep up the good work and know that there are still people who appreciate what you do.

Yes, it is. 🙂
I’m totally new to your team, introduced by 3AM Danger Zone and Sekine-Kun no Koi. So I don’t really know what you’re referring to by “ETA” but I’m sure all your fans don’t mind waiting a bit longer, especially when you have all these problems irl (good luck on the suit, btw!). :]
Oh, but can I ask if Sekine-kun is included in the batch you’re working on?
Yes, it is. 🙂
Any new eta for hearbroken choclatier? as i believe it was somethime around july 😛
We’re doing a release tomorrow which includes Heartbroken Chocolatier. 🙂

Bleh, that’s pretty rude of them–rough ETAs should encourage, not disappoint! But if that can’t be handled maturely, eh, screw ’em and they can wait more patiently in the dark. :3 It’ll happen when it happens! And I know what a nightmare it can be coordinating lawsuits with two parties/two lawyers, especially in the summer when people take vacations! Hang in there.
Haha, you said it! Yeah, the lawsuit has thrown all my June/July/August plans awry, including my impending 26th birthday coming up this Saturday. I’ve been translating stuff at the velocity of a land tortoise tip-toeing across the Galapagos against opposite-force wind. At this rate, I’ll be glued to the screen and might only have enough time to celebrate by momentarily turning my head to the side to blow out the candles on the cake.
“ETAs should encourage, not disappoint!”
yeah! And the E in ETA stands for Estimated!

tbh, I’m also waiting for your releases… but I won’t blame you if ever the release dates is taking time… I know that you guys have been sooo generous and kind to even share/translate your mangas to us. That alone is what I’m so thankful for Stiletto. For sure, you have lots of personal stuffs to do too. I’m fine no matter how long I have to wait for the chapters;)
I hope that you’ll be fine and well. Don’t worry, for sure lots of Stiletto’s supporters understands your circumstances. We love you guys!!!
Omg, I know those car accident lawsuits D: My friend had one not long ago, and a drunk dude slammed right into their car at full speed and of the car is non existent now. Fortunately, everyone’s safe. How everything’s fine about that! And I so understand yo uabout RL issues preventing from stable releases/hobbies/translations/whatever.
First, scanlation is a *hobby* and it’s supposed to be *fun*. I don’t want to pressure you to go any faster than is fun for you! Whenever you do release something in one of the series I read, I’m happy to read it instead of whining about how I couldn’t have read it earlier. Whenever you release something else, that’s cool too and I don’t whine about you releasing that instead of something I want to read.
Second, about “but I am just a little slower because RL prevails, and I’m in the middle of pursuing a lawsuit following the car accident that happened on Memorial Day weekend,” that sounds horrible and I hope you were not injured in that car accident! In fact, I hope nobody was injured in that car accident!
Thank you very much for these clarifications, i will wait patiently from now on, because, ultimately, you guys do an awesome job and have great projects, so it’s worth the wait 😀
Aww Hatsumii~
You’re so strong ♥ No ones blaming you for slow releases.(:
They’re just impatient and love you and the staff for working. lol
Some people just don’t know how to show their appreciation. ;D
