Y’know, I took a four-year’s break from anime and manga and tonight, (as all TV dramas I watch reached their mid-season break), I thought to myself, “Hey, whatever happen to ______ (fill in the blank with a manga series)?” Well, apparently, there are two obvious things here – firstly, I talk to myself when my therapist said that I should do that less, and secondly, the manga I was thinking about was 3 AM Dangerous Zone. Oh, for the last few years, we have been baking the bûches ourselves too. They’re not as good looking as if they had been made by professionals but they taste good and it’s extremely satisfying to eat homemade desserts for Christmas. If you’re proud of the results, don’t hesitate to come post pictures on the forum (/shamelessly advertising).
The Yule log turned out to be a bust. I’ll try my hand at another roll cake sometime later but it was the middle of the night before Xmas eve and my patience had run thin. I ended making another chocolate cake and pouring ganache over it. Lame, but rich and delicious. Oh well!
