Aoki Kaoru is a 26 year old woman who has never been in a relationship. Normally unattached and unmotivated in life, it’s no wonder she surprises everyone when she decides to start up a nail salon as a side business, in addition to keeping her regular job as a medical dispatcher. However, her sometimes icy exterior is simply a cover for her fear of intimacy, a fear she is forced to confront when she gets close to a surgeon named Yagai, who has a few inner demons of his own.
