  • Hai, I’m open for typesetting and proofreading for any manga you need help with. Do I need to email you guys or will you email me with further instructions..? My email is sweetercyanide@gmail.com! I’ve got experience with Photoshop too, btw. πŸ™‚

  • Hello! Writing to you the team Russian translators Koto-no-yume. we loved your project “Nobody cry” and would like to translate it into Russian. Can we translate it, and if you agree to work with us? We will be very happy!

  • Hello! If you need a QC, I think I can help! Or a proof reader. I’m not a native speaker, but I’m quite fluent πŸ™‚ Maybe I can clean, but never tried my hand at it – don’t know. Maybe you can send me a task to check my suitability: fooflo@gmx.com
Good job with the releases! Love most of the manga chosen! And I want to read MOAAAARR! That’s why I’m willing to help! Cheers!

  • hello. I’m currently looking if you need cleaner n redrawer especially for shoujo manga. I’m up if there’s new project of new shoujo manga πŸ˜€

  • If you still need editors/typesetters/cleaners/raw preppers, then you can count on me.

I don’t have much freetime but I’ll try my best (since stiletto heels scanlates most of my favorite mangas :D).
Edited some mangas (hundreds of) years ago for another scanlation groups (most of them are unfortunately inactive now),
I am obsessed with fonts and I love to redraw, so i can do the most basic editor work without any problems.

  • Hey, I’m interested in helping out with any position to aid in the release of Principal. I have no knowledge of Japanese, though I am pretty good at spelling, grammar, etc. Any openings?

    • We basically already have cleans in up until Ch.14. What we needed was an experienced typesetter or translator for the project. However, if it’s proofreading work that you’re looking for, you may be able to help out on this project.

Let me know which position you’re applying for. πŸ™‚

  • i know it’s not posted here, but i’m hoping if there’s an opening for the proofreader position… you may have some inactive PRs there and i work pretty fast…

  • hello ~ are there any positions open? I would really like to try out with cleaning because I’m in the process of learning it but I can also translate chinese or any other job that might be open. let me know if I can help πŸ™‚

    • Hello, of course. We’d love to have your help. Please email us at the contact email and let me know which project(s) you’re interested in. Hope to hear from you soon!

  • hi! i wanna ask.. does a cleaner just clean texts or put dialogues too?? What are the job of typesetting and Miscellaneous assignments?
i think i’m interested in cleaner positions

  • Heya I’m interested in any position whether it be misc. to a cleaner! I just want to get some experience in the editing or cleaning up. I can’t do translations though but anything else that involves with the editing would be cool for me~Its silly to say but I got immensely hooked on Principal and I started reading it. So I’m saying I’ll happily work on anything and this group seems pretty cool, so yeah, email me if your interested in having me work for you guys! I have some experience with editing but I’m willing to learn if you give me a chance!

    Thanks for reading/listening,

    Eristar

    • Aw crap, I’m so totally sorry I didn’t read anything of the above about sending applications..>__<;;

  • I put this on the forums but Ill put it here just because Im thorough:

I would like to apply as cleaner for Nina My Love, that is if its still open. Otherwise, Ill take any Seinen or Josei series.

I have substantial experience editing HQ raws. I also have experience with typesetting though its never been much fun to me so Id prefer to only rarely exercise those skills.

  • Hi team,

I can proofread the translations. I’m a bit of a grammar and vocabulary freak. I’m reading your Futago & What Revolves Around Al And Neri scanlations and would love to support you guys.

    Thank you for the works.

    Cheers.

    Nani

  • Hello,
I am very pleased to hear about your offers for recruitment. I would be very honored if you would email me about openings for being a Cleaner or any Miscellaneous assignments. I am going to be having much time off now that school is over, so that means I have about three months to myself. I would be happy if you would consider me for any of these great opportunities. I am Very OCD about straight lines, making images very sharp and being a perfectionist. So please consider me for any of these positions.
    Thank you,
    Shelly

  • Hi!
May I use Your English script to translate this manga into Russian?
    I’l clean my own scans.
    Thank You very much.
    fundo)

  • Hi, I’m intrested in a translator position. I’ve been learning Japanese for 5 years and English for 14 years. As I’m aiming to be an interpreter/translator, this would be a good practice for me, added to this that I like the series you share with us.(Especially Bitou Lollipop).
The only concern I have that I attend University so they are some times that I would get slower in making my bit of work.

  • Hello, I’d like to edit the translations to where teh subject and verb agreements are correct and any other odd jobs that I could do. I’m free on the weekends. I can also translates Spanish and German.

    Thank you,

    Alex πŸ˜€

    • Hi, Alex. Do you mean “proofreading”, where you go over the English translations and make corrections? Please let me know. We are still looking for proofreaders.

  • Hi, I’m interested in your cleaner position. As for projects that I’m interested for cleaning, whatever is available so let me know. I’m willing to take a test. :D. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • Hi I’m completely free for the month and weekends I’m interested in being a cleaner I guess. I can even check grammar and spelling. I just can’t translate Japenese, Korean, Chinese etc. However I can translate French. Where do we get an application from ?

  • hey, so great you are going to do Otoko no Isshou, I want to ask if you are positiv with join projects. Because if you won’t find a cleaner and typesetter for Otoko no Isshou, I could do that. I have a scangroup named Dunderheads. I can do better than in my group (there it isn’t necessery, so I chose the lazy way :)). I even have a tablet. But well, if you don’t like join projects, I understand. Thanks for picking it anyway.

    • I don’t object to joints at all. If we can’t find an editor within June, I’ll contact you about doing a joint. Thanks. πŸ™‚

  • Hi, i have a question, for the raws prepper, all we have to do is clean up all the text and sfx in the manga right?

    • Raws prepper basically crops/rotates.levels the raws. A cleaner would then remove text/sfx. Hope that helps. πŸ™‚

  • Hello. (: I’m interested in cleaning or typesetting, that is…if you’re still in need of them. I love your projects, so I’m interested in doing anything that needs cleaning and or typesetting.

  • I would like to be a cleaner, I’m pretty good with photoshop (I also draw a lot if that counts for anything.), but I’ve never really been in a scanlation group. I’m still in school so My weekdays are really busy but I can fit time between weekends to do whatever. I’m manly interested in Shoujo but I also enjoy Josei. I can also color too πŸ™‚

  • okay… i’m stupid, so question. when you say editor you mean the whole typeset/cleaner thing right? yes, i can read and i can see that it’s not up there, but is there ANY need at all for a proofreader??? i don’t know japanese, i’m a minor and can’t buy photoshop nor tell my parents why i need to spend that kind of money…. > < but i read futago, fell in love with it, and plan to read more and not be a leacher. that would make me feel guilty =p oh and i SUCK at making things straight. can't even draw/cut a 2" stright line, let alone be a raws prepper =/

  • well i have never done any of this thing before. but if you give me a tutorial I can do it. The only thing that I can’t do is translate… I’m from Brazil, i do 2 collages but I have my wekends free. If you are interest you can count on me. I love your prjects!!

  • Hi, just wondering if you were interested in the shoujo, josei, or seinen manga? We do have shoujo chapters that have translations but no editors. If you’re still interested, please email me at the gmail listed above, and we can discuss things there. πŸ™‚
